First of all I would like to thank all of you that have supported my music. “Change For a Penny” ‘s success was far beyond my imagination and it allowed me to gain the respect of many people that had never heard my name prior to the release of the tape. With that being said, I received an array of reviews/feedback that I am most thankful for. This has allowed me to grow tremendously as an artist, knowing where I should put my focus as I strive to become better than anyone else doin this. Tunnel Vision really shows me making a transition, and the thoughts and ideas behind the title and what it means for me as an artist and also as a person. Gonna keep this tape between 7 and 10 songs. All touching on definitive subject matter and exhibiting a talent to paint a picture more so than in CFAP. This is My Official Artist Bio. I was born and raised in Vallejo, Ca. The heart of the Bay Area. Growin up in this city atmosphere moulded me to be accustomed to a fast lifestyle and after coming to Tucson at 16, an adjustment had to be made. Bein active in Sports thru High School and first 2 years of College took up a lot of my time….However, music was something i always counted on to let me escape from the problems I faced as a youngin. Im one of those people who sees somethin, likes it, and dont really see why I cant do anything….as I fell in love with music around 12 I began to write. Although I was writing I didnt take it serious until about a Year and a half from now….and I must say Ive made UNREAL strides towards becoming an artists in a zone. My New Mixtape “Change For a Penny” is ahead of my time, and is very conceptual for a young 22 year old artist only a year into his dreams. Alright so I felt it was necessary to hit with a blog for this new song titled “By Your Side.” The beat was made by an up and coming producer named Mazic!The sample that he included spoke to me on a night a couple weeks back where I was going thru something in my life that ran parallel to what i thought the sampl meant. The chipmunked voice is sayin “Its alright, for an hour or two, while i lay here with you, by your side.”

You can take this so many ways, which is what I love about music. When Mazic made this beat im sure he didnt have the same idea that I did for this sample. So what happened in my life?

Ive been in a relationship for the past 4 months and basically ive been as faithful as one man can be. Somethin rare in today’s world haha. Anyways a lot of times my desire to attract fans and folowers can interfere with my personal life. As you can imagine a girl could get a little jealous, and if she had been hurt in the past she may assume that her man was up to somethin. I was a hurt by this because of the fact that i have been faithful and hadnt disrespected my relationship even when chatting online with girls or whatever. I felt confused because things can be so good while Im there laying with her and I knew it was all real, but when i leave how could the thoughts of me with another person enter her mind? Now refer to the hook—see where Im comin from. So on that night I began to write this song. However, I had a deeper problem that was revealed by this situation.

I realized that my relationship with Music had a similar speed bump. When Im here in the studio I feel like music is layin here next to me, loving me, believing in me, knowing that all I want is her. And at the same time I feel like when Im out there in my regular life Im so far from gettin in and livin out my dreams…like by livin life Music feels played. By letting anything else make me happy Im Cheating. Like having a brief thought of NOT making it in Music is Cheating. Which it is when you think about it. So I felt challenged to make a song to let out these emotions and express my obsession with the most challenging relationship in my life…My relationship with music….one I may possibly make even more difficult by staying real and not conforming to what people like to hear on the radio. I can only pray that my brand of music will be appreciated and that maybe one day Music will trust me enuff to make me hers in a way that the world sees us in our happy state.
